The Canadiens and restricted free-agent Alex Galchenyuk have agreed to terms on a two-year contract worth what a source told ESPN's Pierre LeBrun is an average of $2.8M per year.

Galchenyuk had career highs with 20 goals, 26 assists and 46 points last season. 

The Flyers and right wing Jakub Voracek have agreed to a multiyear contract extension, according to an ESPN.com report on Thursday.

The 25-year-old Voracek had 22 goals and career highs of 59 assists and 81 points last season.

The Rangers and restricted free agent Derek Stepan avoided arbitration Monday by announcing their agreement on a long-term contract.

A source told ESPN.com that Stepan signed a six-year deal that will have an average annual value of $6.5 million.

Alex Chiasson of the Senators has been awarded a $1.2 million, one-year deal in arbitration on Sunday, according to an ESPN.com report.

Steve Griggs is the Lightnings's new chief executive officer, replacing Tod Leiweke.

The Eastern Conference champions announced the move Friday, when Leiweke left the team to become the NFL's chief operating officer.

The Red Wings have agreed to a $1.8 million, two-year contract with right wing Tomas Jurco.

The 22-year-old Jurco played 63 games with the Red Wings in 2014-15, scoring three goals with 15 assists.

The Ducks announced today that the club has signed center Ryan Kesler to a six-year contract extension through the 2021-22 NHL season.

Kesler, 30, appeared in 81 regular season games last year, scoring 20-27=47 points with 75 penalty minutes (PIM). Kesler led the club in faceoff percentage (56.3%, ninth in NHL), face-off wins (937), shots (205), and ranked second among forwards in hits (169), takeaways (47) and blocked shots (69). 

Forward Michael Bournival agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with the Montreal on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old played 29 games with the Canadiens last season with three goals and two assists.

Right wing Chris Stewart has agreed to a one-year, $1.7 million deal with the Ducks, according to an ESPN.com report on Sunday.

Stewart played for Sabres and Wild last season, collecting 36 points and 88 penalty minutes. He appeared in eight postseason games with the Wild, getting two assists.

Gustav Nyquist has agreed to a $19 million, four-year deal, the Red Wings announced Friday. The 25-year-old Swedish forward was the only Detroit player to file for arbitration, but the Red Wings avoided that by coming to terms on a deal.

Nyquist had 27 goals and 27 assists last season.
